Volunteer With LTC

We are looking for volunteer Therapists to join our friendly team.    If you have an interest in Trauma Therapy, or are looking to fulfill your placement hours, we can offer you a voluntary position to suit your needs.  Receive excellent training in the field of Trauma and Self -harm.  We provide 1 to 1 support for the volunteers in the form of a key worker.

Requirements

  • Membership of a professional body e.g BACP, UKCP, NCPS or other recognised body.

  • A current DBS check (less than 3 years old)

  • Indemnity Insurance to work as a trainee/qualified counsellor

  • Clinical Supervisor in place

  • 2 references - one character - one academic or professional

Upon receipt of the application , we will invite you in for an interview.  You will berequiredto give a short presentation on 'your understanding of Trauma/PTSD and how you will work with clients.  The presentation can be around 10 minutes long.
